Walsingham Village & AreaFood ProvisionsThe Walsingham Village Stores in the High Street sells most things. It is open Mondays to Saturdays 8am to 7 pm and on Sundays 10 am to 6 pm. There is also a supermarket and other shops in Fakenham. Places To Eat.There is a professional caterer on site, who provides lunch and supper. Buy tickets from New Dawn for this. There are also places to eat in the village from cafes and coffee shops to restaurants and pubs which do meals. The Slipper Chapel cafe also does a cooked lunch for those who book in advance, although places are limited. For an evening outing, the Fish and Chips shops in Wells are also popular. Post Office
There is a Post Office in the High Street. BanksThere is no bank in Walsingham, except for banking facilities provided by the Post Office. All the major banks have outlets at Fakenham, the nearest town. PetrolThere is nothing in Walsingham. The nearest is the Shell petrol station at the Fakenham roundabout where the Al065 meets the Al48. Gift ShopsThere are a wide selection of gift shops, book shops and repositories dotted round the village catering for all tastes. |
